María Tussy

María obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Community Law. In addition, she is diplomat in European Union by Diplomatic School of Spain.

Moreover, her professional career has been related to European Union affairs for years, first within Spanish Managing Authority of European Social Fund and then within the ONCE Foundation (since 2000) as responsible for Strategic Planning, Management and Monitoring of Operational Programmes for the European Social Fund.

Furthermore, she is helping the Director General regarding institutional relations, among others, with the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security, the European Commission and other institutions of the Third Sector. In addition, she is expert member of various working parties of the European Commission regarding EU Structural Funds, as well as nonvoting member of ESF Committee.
